I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW IT WOULD BE POSSIBLE TO IMPROVE THINGS SO THAT IT WOULD BE. AND ALSO I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE FACT THAT I MEASURED OFF MANY OF THESE LOTS ARE 27 FEET WIDE. I DON'T KNOW WHAT KIND OF WHAT KIND OF HOME YOU CAN BUILD ON 27-FEET WIDE PROPERTY. I HAVE MY DOUBTS AND I'M CONCERNED THAT THEY WOULD BE MAYBE THE MANUFACTURED TYPE HOMES. YOU NEVER USE THE WORD MANUFACTURED HOME. EVEN ASKED ABOUT TRAILER HOUSES, WHICH IS KIND OF -- IT'S A GRAY AREA ON THAT. THE PLANNING COMMISSION DID RECOMMEND APPROVAL OF THIS.

CONDITIONS 2, 3 AND 4 ARE THE CONDITIONS WE NORMALLY SEE. WHERE THE PLAT, WHERE THE REPLAT WOULD BE FILED FOR THE RIGHT-OF-WAY IN EACH OF THE ADJOINING PROPERTY TO DISBURSE THE ABANDONED RIGHT-OF-WAY. AND ALL UTILITIES IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY BE COVERED BY AN EASEMENT.

THE BIG -- THE NEW ONE -- THE NEW CONDITION HERE CONDITION NUMBER ONE THAT SAYS PRIOR TO PLANNING THE EXTENSION OF UNIVERSITY BOULEVARD FROM THE WEST EXTENDING TO SIMMONS BOULEVARD, TO THE EXPECTED TO MEET CITY OF ABILENE STANDARDS.

AS THE CONDITION WITH THIS RIGHT-OF-WAY, WE NORMALLY DON'T SEE SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST FIVE AND SIX STATE IT'S THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE UNIVERSITY TO PROVIDE THE CITY WITH APPROPRIATE INSTRUCTION PLAN FOR THE GATES AND THAT THOSE BE APPROVED BY THE CITY AND IT'S THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAINTAIN THE GATE IN WORKING ORDER IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INSTRUCTION PLANS THAT BEEN APPROVED. WITH THAT, STATE AGAIN THAT THE PLANNING COMMISSION DID RECOMMEND APPROVAL.

THIS REQUEST LARGELY DRIVEN BECAUSE OF THE NEW RESIDENTS HALL THEY ARE BUILDING RIGHT THERE AT THE CORNER OF AMBLER AND SIMMONS AVENUE. THEY ARE DISPLACING A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF PARK WHICH WILL BE MADE UP ACROSS THE STREET. THERE'S A DESIRE TO MAKE SURE THE STUDENTS ARE SAFE CROSSING BACK AND FORTH ACROSS SIMMONS AVENUE. BEYOND THAT, AS YOU CAN SEE WITH THIS EXHIBIT HERE, THERE ARE A NUMBER OF ENTRANCES AND EXISTS THAT DUMP OUT ON AMBLER AVENUE FROM THE HOSPITAL. AND OTHER FACILITIES THERE TO THE SOUTH. THE DESIRE HERE TO LIMIT TRAFFIC COMING FROM THEIR CAMPUS OUT ON AMBLER TO KEEP SAFETY UP FOR THEIR STUDENTS THEIR FACULTY AND VISITORS TO THE CAMPUS. THEY WANT MORE CONTROLLED TRAFFIC WHERE TRAFFIC IS NOT AS HEAVY AS AMBLER.

JUST ONE IN A SERIES OF ROAD CLOSURES AIMED AT LONG-TERM.

THEY INTEND TO POTENTIALLY GATE OFF THE ENTRANCES AND ALLOW TRAFFIC IN AND OUT ON SPECIAL OCCASION.

THEY WILL HAVE TO BE CLEARED WITH THE CITY.

THEY WILL HAVE TO BE PLANNED WITH MEMBER WORKS AND MAKE SURE ALL THE PERSONAL HAVE ACCESS AND WHAT NOT.

THE STREETS THAT ARE BEING ABANDONED WILL NOT GO AWAY.

THEY WILL STILL BE THERE. THEY WILL BE CUT OFF FROM
