TO ITEM NUMBER FOUR IT RECEIVED REPORT ON DISCUSSION IN ACTION ON THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM.>> INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKET IS SOME INFORMATION ON THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC VEHICLE INFRASTRUCTURE BETTER KNOWN AS AN EVI AND BASICALLY PHASE ONE WAS DONE BY TXDOT SO IT WAS A GRANT PROGRAM THEY HAD OUT THERE AND THEY APPROXIMATELY 36 NEW LOCATIONS WILL BE NEEDED TO SATISFY THE 50 MILE MAXIMUM SPACE REQUIREMENTS AND ALSO THAT IN A MINUTE. WE ARE IN PHASE 2 RIGHT NOW AND SO PHASE 2 IS WHERE THE MPO IS GOING TO RECEIVE 1 MILLION RECONSTRUCTION AND 200,000 FOR OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE THIS IS A ONE TIME THING AND SO WILL GET IT THIS TIME IN ORDER TO DO THAT. AND TXDOT WILL BE HAVING A GRANT PROGRAM BASICALLY TO HAVE NOMINEES SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS AND THEN THEY WILL CHOOSE THE WINNING AWARDS FOR THE AREA PEER SO WHAT WE ARE ASKING FOR TODAY IS DO WE WANT TO LOOK AT THE WHOLE MPO PLANNING AREA OR DO WE WANT TO NARROW IT DOWN TO A SMALLER STUDY AREAS? TELLS YOU THE KILOWATTS THERE ARE THAN THE STUDY AREAS ARE SO WE CAN EITHER DO THE ENTIRE STUDY AREA OR WE CAN ESTABLISH SMALLER STUDY AREAS WITHIN OUR STUDY AREA.
